One of the things we love about walking is that you get to see things you do not see when speeding along on other modes of transport. Because I tend to pull the camera out and “mess about” taking pictures, I was perpetually trying to catch up with Ruth during our walks. This changed last year when when armed with her iPhone 6+ she started taking more and more (and more) photos. Here is a selection from our “messing around” collection, mainly plants in this post:

  1. So great! Just today we were out doing the same thing: on a bird walk, but when no birds were in sight, snapping photos of flowers and butterflies. BTW, my favorite is the blooming kowhai. More collections, please!
