The things you see when you slow down

One of the things we love about walking is that you get to see things you do not see when speeding along on other modes of transport. Because I tend to pull the camera out and “mess about” taking pictures, I was perpetually trying to catch up with Ruth during our walks. This changed last year when when armed with her iPhone 6+ she started taking more and more (and more) photos. Here is a selection from our “messing around” collection, mainly plants in this post:

  1. So great! Just today we were out doing the same thing: on a bird walk, but when no birds were in sight, snapping photos of flowers and butterflies. BTW, my favorite is the blooming kowhai. More collections, please!
