Over the last 10 years I have often found a reason to snap a picture of fishermen. Sometimes this is because it simply makes for a good picture: the dedicated fisherman who is prepared to sit patiently waiting for something to nibble on the bait. Other times it has been the sheer madness that seems to grip some people when they get a fishing rod in hand while others, it just been an interesting picture. Here is a selection of those:

What a great series! When we saw the one with the helicopter, we couldn’t quite believe it.

Neither could we when we saw it, getting the helicopter onto the rock ledge seemed awfully risky not to mention it making for very expensive fish, if you caught any.
